DFW RESTAURANT WEEK: Beef University
(For Ages 21 & Up)
DEMONSTRATION. Learn about the various cuts of beef and their best cooking methods in this all-about-beef class. Representatives from the Texas Beef Council will reveal the secrets of perfectly cooking any cut and explain the differences between corn-finished and grass-fed beef. You'll hear more about DFW Restaurant Week from the organizers and the charities that benefit from this annual event and receive a list of the participating restaurants. Our staff will then show you how to cook these tasty and easy-to-make beef recipes; you'll collect recipes to add to your repertoire; and enjoy these dishes:
Barbecue Bacon Silders;
Oven-roasted Tri-tip with Santa Maria-style rub served with a Garlic Bread, Green Salad & Salsa; and
Korean-style Short Ribs .
