HANDS-ON. Celebrate the fruits and vegetables from our Texas gardens as we explore the flavors of freshness in peak season. You'll perfect your techniques as you produce this meal that celebrates our farmers, growers and producers:
Chilled Cantaloupe Soup with Grapefruit & Watermelon;
Stewed Okra & Tomatoes;
Country Fried Portabella Steaks with Mushroom & Shallot Gravy;
Skillet Potatoes with Caramelized Noonday Onions & Jalepenos; and
Texas Peach Cobbler Cake.

Participants must dress with safety in mind. Please wear completely closed shoes, no sandals. Long hair should be pulled back and up.
