KIDS' CAMP 11-13: Basics of Bread (DL7/12/2016)
(For Ages 11- 13)
KIDS. HANDS-ON. Learn basic, essential kitchen techniques. You'll work with a variety of leavening agents and learn to how to mix, roll, shape and bake these different types of breads:
Pizza Dough (for Mini-pizzas);
Cheddar Cheese Biscuits;
Strawberrry Muffins; and
Chocolate Jelly Roll.
INSTRUCTOR: CM Cooking School Staff
• Campers should dress for cooking with close-toed shoes, and long hair pulled back. The classroom may be cool, so we encourage campers to dress in layers.
• While a light meal will be provided each day, please have your kids eat lunch before attending camp.
• Please pay close attention to age group designations when you enroll your child, as each session will be tailored specifically for the age ranges listed.
• A release form must be signed by a responsible adult for each child attending kids’ camp.
