TEXAS PARKS & WILDLIFE: It's a Party!
(For Ages 18 & Up)
HANDS-ON. Spend an evening learning to cook some of the best our great state has to offer. A representative from Texas Parks and Wildlife will be on hand to discuss game management, fishing, hunting and enjoying the great outdoors and to answer any questions that you might have. Then you'll divide into teams and perfect your techniques as you create these festive recipes fit for entertaining. Because of the timing, our staff will show you how to season and cook the boar; you'll get experience shredding the meat with forks and making the vinegar-based barbecue sauce.
