SYZYGY Concert: Plainscapes

The Meadows Chorale, directed by Pamela Elrod Huffman, joins SYZYGY for a performance of Pēteris Vasks’ Plainscapes, a haunting vocalise for choir, violin and cello. The rest of the program explores the different ways music can fill up space, from the busy-ness of Dan Visconti to the surround-sound otherworldliness of Toru Takemitsu.
